Week 1 — And So It Begins . . .

Begin at once — ready or not.  Sometimes the best way for me to start is just to simply recognize the new vocabulary words/concepts that are being presented and consider how they make me feel — Hope, faith, courage, open mindedness, and tolerance; dreaming, hoping, wishing, desiring, and planning — WOW!  I am encouraged that so many things will be revealed and experienced.  This is making my stomach flip.  Will it hurt?  Will I cry?  How will they come about?  Through this process, I will be transmuting the strongest emotions into dreams of constructive nature.  I will “let no one influence [me] to scorn the dreamer.”  Dreams are the seedlings of reality.  Practical Dreamers DO NOT QUIT!  No one EVER is defeated until defeat has been accepted as a reality.

Repetition ALOUD — Does MY voice resonating in my own ears positively reinforce and even change my thoughts, hopes, and dreams?  As I progress through the week and create good habits, I see the answer is an emphatic YES!   I am the author of these thoughts and the recipient of the Blessings that flow from them.  Wishing will not bring riches.  Exact, definite, repetitive action will.  I shall rejoice in my good habits!

Burning Bridges — I was taught this was a bad thing to do because you always need to have a way to get out.  This obviously is an outdated way of thinking for my growing subby.  How unique to consider that there is no need to “go back” because there is no option for failure.  “We cannot leave these shores alive unless we win!  We now have no choice — we win — or we perish!  [By the way] They won.”

This all is encouraging as I fine-tune my Definiteness of Purpose — the knowledge of what one wants and a burning desire to possess it.  Success requires no apologies; failure permits no alibis; never mind what “they” say.  Again, I will continue relentlessly with these good habits as I am ready to receive all that they can provide!

[Holy Cow!  15 minutes is a REALLY long time to sit still for this plate spinner!]
