Week 9 –Ch, ch, ch, ch, Changes . . .

“A million dead end streets and every time I thought I’d got it made.  It seemed the taste was not so sweet; so I turned myself to face me but I never caught a glimpse of how the others must see the faker.”  (David Bowie)

Haanel teaches us “If you wish to change conditions, you must change yourself.”  Everything is coming together.  Replacing old habits with new habits.  Bad neuropeptide addictions (which I never realized I had until they were made blatently obvious) with good ones.  Negative thoughts with positive ones.

Whew!  I get why we need to reassure ourselves with “I love you” because; frankly, looking back, we might not have been as lovable as we thought we were.  I truly believe this particular nightly affirmation from my Gal in the Mirror is critical to my success and self-accountability.  She has become aware of the “faker” about whom David Bowie spoke.  Always loved this song and now I finally get it.

Now as I fashion my future, “Every success has been accomplished by persistent concentration upon the object in view.”  I have always been a very imaginative visual person, so I have come to truly enjoy my nightly sit.  This week I planted a seed (along with my DMP) and a gardenia bush grew.  Over the years, I have sat so many times at my front door wondering about and admiring the shiny oval leaves and beautiful buds and drunken in the delicious aroma of the sensitive flowers.  “Act is the ‘blossom’ of thought and conditions are the result of action.” Now, I know that I can watch my future unfold just as the petals blossom and KNOW what it looks like.  How sweet my success    will be    is!

“I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious, and happy!”

Thanks Master Pamela. I appreciate reading your posts and everyone else’s posts that I read. I’m feeling more and more connected to life outside this little town I live in. I love it when I make the time to do it. Here’s to a fantastic and successful week 11!
